Welcome to the official website of Malayali Association Townsville Inc. (MAT Inc.) Malayali Association of Townsville has started in 2008 by a group of people and got incorporated in 2009.

We welcome all Malayalee to Townsville which is known as Mini Kerala, Gods Own Country. Townsville is the fastest growing Capital city of North Queensland and second largest city in Queensland after Brsibane.

Population of Townsville is around 195,000 as of 2012. Tropical climate, lots of rivers, backwater, long beaches, parks are all most similar to Kerala make Malayalee an ideal place to settle down. MATs activities are designed to promote the rich and vibrant culture of Malayalees in Townsville.

As a member of the Malayalee Association of Townsville, as its supporter or just as a visitor, you will find useful and relevant information in our web pages.

We will strive to provide information that are more focused on matters that are of interest to the Malayalee community in Townsville , and also to those who are planning to visit or migrate to Townsville.
